1. Using the SecureW2 EAP Suite on Windows CE

The SecureW2 EAP Suite methods can be used for wired and wireless connections. The following section shows how to configure your wireless network adapter for 802.1X.

1.1. Wireless

To access the wireless configuration for your adapter select the "Comm Manager Icon" in "Settings".

You are then presented with the "Comm Manager" window.

If not enabled, enable your WIFI by selecting the WIFI icon.

It is possible, if the Wireless network is broadcasted, that you are presented with the "Multiple Networks Broadcasted" popup.

Select the network you want to connect to and you are presented with the "New network detected" window.

From this window select "Settings". You can now skip the following sections and move to the "Configure Wireless Networks" window.

If have to added your network manually or it is not found by your device, simply select "Settings" and then "WLAN Settings".

This will show the "Wireless LAN" Window.

From the "Menu" option select either "WIFI" or "Network Cards" depending on the Windows version.

You are presented with the "Configure Wireless Networks window.

Hold down your stylus on the name of the network you want to configure and select the "Edit" option.

You are now presented with the "Configure Wireless Network" window.

Here you can configure the basic wireless setting for your adapter. Select "Next" to continue. An example of a WPA/TKIP configuration can be found below.

Change the options accordingly. Select "Next" to continue.

From the EAP Type selection box select the SecureW2 EAP method you wish to use (For example "SecureW2 TTLS") and select Properties to configure it. For more information on configuring SecureW2 methods see the ConfigurationGuide.

When configured, select the option "Finish" to return to the "Configure Wireless Networks".

The authentication process should start automatically if the configured network is in range.
